Complete information about the great Indian mathematician
Bhaskaracharya
Many great mathematicians and scientists passed away in
medieval India. These include Aryabhata, the great mathematician who introduced
zero to the world, and Sushruta, who made invaluable contributions to the
medical field. One such great mathematician and astronomer is Bhaskaracharya.
Bhaskaracharya History
Bhaskaracharya was born in this. Born in 1114 at Bijapur in
Karnataka. His father's name was Maheshwar. He was good at mathematics from his
childhood. He wanted to teach others.
Bhaskaracharya’s Work in the Field of Mathematics
Bhaskaracharya, who was very good at mathematics, easily solved many mathematics of that time. Some of these calculations were not even solved in Europe. Meanwhile, he was appointed as the head of the Astronomical Observatory at Ujjain.
Bhaskaracharya has written his entire work in 6 texts.
Bhaskaracharya Book
1. Lilavati: This book is written on the subject of
mathematics.
2. Algebra (Bijaganita): It seems to be written about the
seed in mathematics i.e. the root.
3. Siddhanta Shiromani: This book is divided into two major
parts. The first part contains information about astronomical mathematics while
the second part contains information about spheres.
4. Grahaganita: It deals with the study of planets and
formulas in mathematics.

Bhaskaracharya’s Astronomical Studies
Bhaskaracharya studied many astronomical phenomena with the
help of his mathematical formulas. He then proved that it takes 365 days for
the earth to complete one revolution around the sun. Also the rotation speed of
planets, lunar and solar eclipses etc. He also did the study.
Such a great Indian mathematician and astronomer died in
1185. Throughout his life, he put forward many formulas and theories, which are
still true today.
