315 total cases in India

According to the Indian Council of Medical Research, the number of total corona virus infection cases in the country has increased to 315.

One thousand fine for spitting in Ahmedabad

Ahmedabad Municipal Corporation has doubled the penalty for spitting in public places in view of preventing the spread of corona virus. With this, all the paan shops will remain closed till 31 March.

Corporator Vijay Nehra said, "Spitting in public places will now a fine of Rs 1000 instead of 500." Meanwhile, Deputy Chief Minister Nitin Patel confirmed the arrival of six new patients in the state.

The total number of patients in the state has increased to 13. 12 of these patients had returned from traveling abroad. These patients are being treated in hospitals in Ahmedabad, Vadodara, Surat and Rajkot.

The patient, who was found positive in Gandhinagar, had recently returned from abroad, and has been admitted to isolation ward. At the same time, a 52-year-old patient found positive in Vadodara had returned from Sri Lanka.



Balaji, Mahakaleshwar, Omkareshwar, Rameswaram temple closed

The Andhra Pradesh government has closed all the temples including the famous Balaji and Srikalahasti temples by 31 March.

Rameswaram Ramanathan Swamy Temple in Tamil Nadu will also be closed till 31st. During this period, there will be a ban on devotees coming to the temple.

The Madhya Pradesh government has also banned entry of Mahakaleshwar and Omkareshwar temples till 31st. Both these temples are included in the 12 Jyotirlingas.

'Corona Warriors' to stop fake news in Karnataka

Corona Warriors in Karnataka will provide accurate information about the epidemic among the people to prevent the spread of rumors and fake news. State Health Minister B Sriramalu on Saturday confirmed three new patients.

The Public Relations Department, Red Cross Society and Karnataka State Labor Studies Institute have invited volunteers for this campaign.

These volunteers will monitor the content available on social media and provide correct information. So far 18 people have been infected with Corona in Karnataka.



Third patient found in Bengal, PCS examination postponed till 5

The West Bengal government on Saturday confirmed the third corona patient in the state. The 20-year-old girl, who was found positive, hails from Habra in North 24 Parganas district and returned from Scotland on 16 March.

On March 19, she was admitted to the Balliaghat ID Hospital after she found symptoms of corona. Meanwhile, the West Bengal Public Service Commission has postponed the written examination to be held on March 21 till April 5.

Cases also increase in Kerala, government workers will work part time

12 new cases were reported in Kerala on Saturday. Chief Minister P Vijayan said, six patients have been received from Kasaragod, five from Ernakulam and one from Pallakad district. A total of 40 patients have been found in the state, out of which three have been cured.

In the state, 44,390 people were kept under observation, while 44,165 were quarantined at homes. 225 patients are hospitalized. The state government has asked all government employees to work part-time for two weeks.

CM said, 50 percent of Group B, C and D employees working in each office will work on alternate days.




Five private hospital workers infected in Rajasthan

Five employees of a private hospital in Rajasthan have been found infected with corona. Rajasthan's Additional Chief Secretary (Health) Rohit Kumar Singh on Saturday confirmed six new patients.

Five of them are employees of the same private hospital where a doctor was confirmed to be infected with corona. A patient has been found in Jaipur. At the same time, investigation report of 42 suspects is awaited.

So far 23 patients have been found in Rajasthan, out of which three have been cured. These include the Italian couple. However the Italian man has died of a heart attack.

Three new patients found in Ladakh

Three more corona patients were found in the union territory of Ladakh on Saturday. A total of 13 positive cases have been found here so far.

On Saturday, two positive persons were found from Leh and one positive from Kargil, said Ladakh Commissioner Secretary (Health) Riggin Samfel.

There were 35 sample reports from Delhi, of which 32 were negative. Meanwhile, two doctors have also been kept under observation in Kashmir.

Public vehicles will run in Odisha even with the odd formula

In view of the outbreak of Corona virus, Bhubaneswar Municipality (BMC) has announced even anomalous formula for public transport.

Private vehicles will be completely exempt. The order issued by BMC stated that buses, autos and taxis will follow even the odd formula.
